アメリカのカリフォルニアにある世界最大のワインメーカーであるE＆Jガロ社を兄弟で設立した
創業者の一人であるアーネスト・ガロ氏が６日、９７歳で亡くなりました。
今日は、彼の言葉を紹介します。
「弟と私は、カリフォルニア産のワインの品質を改善するためと、人々が出せる価格でアメリカの
ディナーテーブルに素晴らしいワインを提供するため働いてきました。また、国内そして海外で
カリフォルニアワインの評判を上げるためにも働きました。」
